Portrait of Samhita Pal

Samhita Pal

Postdoctoral Research Associate in Biostatistics

Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Biostatistics

I work at the intersection of Bayesian inference, high-dimensional statistics, transfer learning, and causal methodology, with applications to neurodegenerative diseases, precision medicine, genomics, and biological network discovery.

In my current position, I am co-advised by Amir Asiaee and Jared Huling (University of Minnesota). My postdoctoral work applies causal methodologies, such as data fusion and sensitivity analysis to problems in precision medicine, clinical trial generalization and individualized treatment rule.

I am on the Statistics and Biostatistics tenure-track faculty job market for the the 2026-2027 academic year.
